Foundation Awards $2.3 Million in Spring Grant Cycle

Heartland Community Foundation is proud to announce $2.3 million in grants to 38 nonprofit organizations through our Spring 2026 Community Impact Grant cycle. These investments will support programs in education, health, economic development, and community well-being.

Selected Recipients

  • Heartland Literacy Council - $50,000 for adult literacy and ESL programs
  • Community Health Partners - $45,000 to expand mobile clinic services
  • Youth Futures Initiative - $40,000 for after-school STEM programming
  • Heartland Food Cooperative - $35,000 for healthy food access in food deserts

This grant cycle received 142 applications requesting more than $8.7 million, underscoring the significant need and the critical role philanthropy plays in our community.
