About Heartland Community Foundation
Heartland Community Foundation was established in 1985 by a visionary group of community leaders who believed that pooling philanthropic resources could create far greater impact than individual giving alone. Over nearly four decades, the Foundation has grown into one of the region's most trusted institutions, managing more than $285 million in charitable assets and granting over $200 million to organizations across the Heartland.
