Heartland Scholars Program

The Heartland Scholars Program provides college scholarships to graduating high school seniors from across the Heartland region. Funded through the generosity of local donors who have established scholarship funds at the foundation, this program has helped more than 3,000 students pursue higher education since 1992.

Scholarship Details

• Awards range from $1,000 to $10,000 per year
• Renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study
• Over 50 named scholarships with varying criteria
• Funds may be used at any accredited college, university, or trade school

Selection Criteria

Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of academic achievement, community involvement, financial need, and alignment with the specific criteria of each named fund. Some scholarships target specific fields of study, schools, or demographics.
